Empowering Women Starts Here
Vision Statement
To promote women's health by serving as a catalyst through which underserved women and girls may become aware of the physical, socio-emotional, fiscal, and spiritual aspects of health and wellness.
To provide a series of educational forums to educate and increase women's awareness of various aspects of their total well-being.
To volunteer time and resources to causes that promote the betterment of women's health.
To challenge women to be greater than they can imagine through the process of self-discovery, the acceptance of themselves as complete individuals, and self-love.
To foster women's networking to encourage healthy lifestyles during weekend retreats for women and to promote their physical, mental, fiscal, and spiritual growth.
To offer workshops to develop effective communication and relationship skills. Our goal is to positively affect the complete life cycle of women from their youth into adulthood.
About Us
Phenomenal Women's Health Inc. (PWH) was founded in May 2007 by Cheryl Burnside, a physical therapist. She saw the need to positively influence women's lives by promoting the importance of living a healthier lifestyle. Phenomenal Women's Health Inc. is a non-profit 501© (3) organization that provides health-related information and services to underserved, underinsured, and uninsured women and girls. Since 2007, the organization has created opportunities for women through its sponsorship and participation in numerous community-based activities. A highlight of its organizational efforts has been its annual themed "Teas for Health." At these one-day seminars, participants receive critical information regarding the seminar topic from celebrated health professionals.

Become a Volunteer
The main focus of our organization is to educate women about the mental, physical, psychological, and spiritual aspects of their lives. We accomplish this through a series of health fairs, as well as by partnering with such organizations as the American Heart Association, St Joseph's Hospital, Avon, Macy’s, Belk, Kohl's, and the American Kidney Foundation . We need your help in our efforts of empowering women and increasing their overall standard of living. Your support is priceless and will work wonders in shaping a new generation of women.

We Must Equip. Eradicate. Empower
FACT: 41.8% of girls aged 11-14 in Georgia are bullied that result in physical fights. In recent years, a series of bullying-related suicides in the US and across the globe have drawn attention to the connection between bullying and suicide. Though too many adults still see bullying as “just part of being a kid,” it is a serious problem that leads to many negative effects for victims, including suicide. It's time to roll up our sleeves. Our little girls shouldn't have to hide any longer.
